The ZOLLHAUS One Suite Hotel (hereinafter “ZOLLHAUS”) is part of the Altes Tramdepot Brauerei Restaurant AG. The present general terms and conditions (hereinafter “GTC”) apply to all legal transactions between the guests and the Altes Tramdepot Brauerei Restaurant AG for the use and rent of the ZOLLHAUS.

Direct reservations (written, per phone, electronically or personal) shall be deemed concluded as soon as a written reservation confirmation has been sent through e-mail by the ZOLLHAUS.
Amendments to the contract or reservation confirmation should always be made in a written form whenever possible and require the authorization of the other party. Unliteral amendments shall not be valid.

The services and prices of the ZOLLHAUS comply with the booking confirmation. The ZOLLHAUS is bound by contract to provide the confirmed services in an orderly way.
The subletting and subcontracting of the ZOLLHAUS as well as its use for other than accommodation purposes is not permitted. The ZOLLHAUS may only be occupied by the number of persons/children specified in the reservation.
All confirmed prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the statutory VAT. The lodging and city tax is CHF 5.30 per person per night and is charged additionally.

Each booking must be confirmed by credit card which expiry date is valid beyond the day of departure. The guest will receive an email from the ZOLLHAUS containing a link to validate the payment through an external payment service. If no payment has been received within the given time period the ZOLLHAUS will contact the guest and will resend a new link.
The following credit cards are accepted: MasterCard, VISA, Union Pay. Additionally, we accept TWINT and Maestro.

Each reservation must be confirmed by credit card which expiry date is valid beyond the day of departure. Nonrefundable rates are only offered if the arrival takes place more than 21 days from the day of booking. The guests credit card will be charged immediately. In case of a cancellation the amount paid will not be refunded.
The following credit cards are accepted: American Express, MasterCard, VISA.

Repayments will be credited to the credit card provided.

Additional services are charged separately on-site. The additional services may be paid cash or by credit card.

Check-in is available from 3pm to latest 6pm on your arrival day. Earlier or later check-in must be communicated per phone or e-mail in advance and is only possible after confirmation by the ZOLLHAUS.
Check-out has to be before 11am on the day of departure. A late check-out is only possible upon availability and agreement with the ZOLLHAUS. The ZOLLHAUS is permitted to charge 100% of the room rate after 11am, should the ZOLLHAUS be used longer than permitted.

The maximum Occupancy of ZOLLHAUS is 4 adults and one baby.
On the upper floor awaits you the master bedroom with a twin-/double bed, a small sitting area as well as the master bathroom with a freestanding shower. On the ground floor, a functional sofa bed invites you to linger while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Old Town of Bern. Handcrafted and customized furniture from Plinio Il Giovane offer you a luxurious and sophisticated comfort within your own 4 walls.
A small dining area and a second bathroom with a shower complete the ground floor. Additionally, a private terrace within the BearPark is exclusively available for the guests of the ZOLLHAUS. Free Wifi, radio, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster and two safes belong to the interior as well as 2 flat screen TVs.
Breakfast is served daily from 8am till 10am and is delivered through a small door into the entrance of the ZOLLHAUS. Breakfast may be enjoyed on the private terrace or within the ZOLLHAUS. The delivery of the breakfast at another point of time is only possible after consultation and agreement with the personnel of the ZOLLHAUS.
The ZOLLHAUS does not have private parking facilities. However, public parking is available within the immediate vicinity of the ZOLLHAUS.

At all times during the stay, the guests are obliged to comply with the safety regulations of the BearPark as well as the present security instructions and any other rules ensuring the safety of the park. The guests of the ZOLLHAUS are obligated to comply with public peace and order.
Pets are not allowed within the ZOLLHAUS.
Smoking and open fire (including candles and the like) is strictly forbidden in the ZOLLHAUS.
No items may be thrown out of the windows nor placed on the window sill.
Furthermore, the house rules of the ZOLLHAUS shall be taken into account and have to be complied at all times. The house rules can be found on our Homepage.

Cancellations must be communicated to the ZOLLHAUS in a written form (e-mail or letter). The following conditions apply to cancellations before the date of arrival, no-shows as well as early departures.

More than 21 days prior to Arrival - no costs and/or annulations fees
21 – 0 days prior to Arrival - 100% of the confirmed room rate

The ZOLLHAUS reserves the right to determine individual annulations conditions contractual.

The guest of the ZOLLHAUS is liable for any damages, loss or other damages caused by himself or fellow traveler.
The ZOLLHAUS is a heritage protected building; any change, affect or damage is forbidden by law and is sanctioned by the government accordingly.
In general, the ZOLLHAUS takes no responsibility nor liability for the loss and damage of personal belongings. The insurance against damage and/or loss is a matter of the guests’ responsibility.

In case the contractual agreement to be made cannot be respected due to force majeure or any other unforeseeable event, the ZOLLHAUS reserves the right to resign from the remaining duties of the contractual agreement partially or fully.

By signing the contract, reservation confirmation or by confirming unilaterally a booking, the guest indicates his or her full acceptance of these general conditions of business. The contract shall be subject to Swiss law exclusively.
Should any regulation of these GTC be impossible or invalid, the validity of the remaining GTC is not affected. In such a case, the invalid regulations will be substituted with a valid and similar effect and/or in an economically way as close as possible.
The sole place of jurisdiction shall be Bern, Switzerland.
